This instrument is a combination product made up of various components. It can perform rock mechanics property tests as well as new types of soil mechanics property tests. The rock direct shear apparatus is developed according to the national industry standards (SLT264-2020) "Test Procedures for Rocks in Water Conservancy and Hydropower Engineering" and (JTG E41-2005) "Test Procedures for Rocks in Highway Engineering." This instrument uses a flat pushing method and is mainly suitable for direct shear tests of rock blocks, structural surfaces (such as joint surfaces, layer surfaces, fissure surfaces, etc.), and the contact surfaces (bonding surfaces) between concrete (or mortar) and rock, as well as shear strength tests of the bonding surfaces between concrete and other materials or overall shear strength tests.
