Purpose
Visual method involves comparing the sample with a series of standard iron-cobalt color charts labeled by color grades.
The solutions are compared and evaluated using a scale ranging from No. 1 to No. 18.
For color determination of varnishes, clear oils, and thinners.
Technical Specifications
(1) Colorless glass test tubes: inner diameter φ10.75 ± 0.05 mm, height 114 ± 1 mm.
(2) Take a certain amount of ferric chloride hydrochloric acid solution, potassium dichromate sulfuric acid solution, and cobalt chloride hydrochloric acid solution. Mix these three solutions in specific proportions to obtain 18 solutions with varying shades of color.
And separately place them into test tubes and seal the openings.
(3) Colorimetric cell. (Bring your own)
