Purpose
It is primarily used for determining the adhesion of organic coatings using the grid-cut method, making it suitable not only for laboratory settings but also for on-site construction environments under various conditions. This grid cutter comes with three types of multi-blade cutting tools (1 mm, 2 mm, and 3 mm), allowing users to select the appropriate blade based on different testing requirements. Specifically, the 1 mm spacing multi-blade cutter is ideal for test specimens with coating film thicknesses below 60 µm, while the 2 mm spacing multi-blade cutter is recommended for specimens with coating film thicknesses ranging from 60 to 120 µm.
This product comes in three varieties.
1. Standard two-blade options (1 mm, 2 mm).
2. Rotary-type three blades (1mm, 2mm, 3mm).
3. Cylindrical Four-sided (1mm, 2mm)
