Purpose

The QCJ-120 (120A, 120B) series film impact testers are designed to evaluate the impact resistance of coatings by determining the maximum height—up to 120 cm—within which a fixed-mass hammer drop onto a test panel does not cause any damage to the coating film. After the instrument's impact head strikes the test panel, there is no secondary rebound phenomenon observed.
