Purpose
The RP-MR11 Vehicle-Mounted Pavement Marking Retroreflection Measurement System was jointly developed by the Highway Scientific Research Institute of the Ministry of Transport and our company. It enables the photometric performance testing of all pavement markings under normal driving conditions and without road closures, offering advantages such as high detection efficiency, comprehensive sample coverage, and enhanced safety in the testing environment.
The measurement results are comparable to those obtained using portable pavement marking retroreflectivity meters, while also providing a comprehensive visual representation of road marking conditions. The collected data can be used to generate detailed maps for marking maintenance and asset management, effectively addressing the limitations of traditional retroreflectivity testers—such as high labor requirements, low efficiency, insufficient sampling coverage, and unsafe testing environments.
