Applications

It is suitable for determining the water saturation of asphalt mixtures. It can be used for quality control of mixtures in asphalt mixing plants, old road surveys, and quality assessment of compacted asphalt mixtures. Unless otherwise specified, tests are conducted at room temperature.

Technical Parameters

1. Turn on the power; the power switch lights up, and the hour and minute timing windows light up, waiting to work.

2. The instrument's vacuum gauge is an electric contact vacuum gauge, with upper and lower limits that can be set according to the requirements of the test. When the gauge needle reaches the lower limit, the vacuum pump stops working; when the needle reaches the upper limit, the vacuum pump resumes working, ensuring the required vacuum level for the test.

3. Cover the vacuum barrel tightly, tighten it, press the exhaust button, the vacuum pump works, the timer starts timing, and press the stop button to stop the vacuum pump.
