Applications: Used for the repeated soaking and drying cycles of gravel or crushed stone in saturated sodium sulfate solution, with the ability to withstand the crystallization pressure of sodium sulfate without significant damage or reduction in strength. This is a method for determining the strength performance of aggregates (also known as stability).
