Product Description

Purpose

This instrument is mainly suitable for silicate cement, ordinary silicate cement, slag silicate cement, fly ash silicate cement, pozzolanic silicate cement, composite silicate cement, and other varieties of cement specified to use this method.
The standard consistency paste of cement has a certain resistance to the penetration of the standard test rod (or test cone). By testing the penetration of cement paste with different water contents, the amount of water required to be added to the standard consistency paste can be determined.
The setting time refers to the time from when the cement is mixed with water to when the test needle penetrates to a certain depth in the standard consistency paste.
