Product Description

Purpose of the instrument

This instrument is suitable for determining the lever pressure of fine-grained soil or graded aggregate specimens with a particle size of less than 20 mm indoors.

For graded aggregates with a larger particle size greater than 20 mm, still use graded aggregates with a particle size of less than 20 mm for testing. The lever pressure value obtained may be slightly lower (this refers only to a test cylinder with an inner diameter of 152 mm; if the inner diameter of the test cylinder is 200 mm, the maximum particle size of the aggregate can be increased to 25 mm).

Principle and main technical specifications of the instrument

The specimen deforms under a certain load, and when the load is removed, the stroke recovers. However, if the load exceeds the elastic deformation of the specimen, plastic deformation occurs. This instrument uses the lever method to perform loading and unloading tests on the specimen to obtain the lever pressure value and plastic limit value of the specimen.
